Titian Software has offices in the UK, USA and Poland, and has a comprehensive team of specialists on board.

Senior Management Team:

Edmund Wilson – CEO, Founder

Edmund founded Titian in 1999, and has since developed the company into a leading provider of sample management software. Prior to founding Titian, Edmund had worked in the engineering group at The Automation Partnership (now TAP Biosystems), creating software for robotic sample management systems.

Edmund graduated from the University of Oxford in 1995 with an MEng in Engineering and Computing Science.

Alan Parkin – Chief Operating Officer

Alan joined Titian in 2000, and is now Chief Operating Officer, responsible for planning and delivery of all projects, and programme management for larger customers. All project staff, as well as software development, quality and IT, report to Alan.

Alan has been involved in software for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry for more than 15 years, and has managed Mosaic deployments for many of the top-20 pharmaceutical companies.

Alan holds a MSc in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.

Mustafa Merali – Head of Application Support
Mustafa Merali – Head of Application Support

Mustafa Joined Titian in 2017 as Head of Application Support, managing a customer focused support team. All support staff in USA, UK and Poland report to Mustafa.

Mustafa has had over 20 years of experience managing customer support teams in various organisations. Mustafa has helped develop and successfully execute strategies as part of the senior management team.

Mustafa holds a BEng in Computer Systems Engineering from City University.

David Booth - Head of Sales, Europe

David joined Titian in 2011, and has 25 years’ experience of technical sales - solving sample management, automation and informatic challenges in the pharmaceutical industry, having previously worked for CambridgeSoft (now Perkin Elmer), TTP Group, and The Automation Partnership (now Sartorius Stedim). All Sales staff within Europe report to David.

David is a Graduate of Leeds University holding a B.Sc./ B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
