Assay requesting simplifies the process of submitting substances to multiple assays during the lead optimisation process. It consolidates multiple requests from different scientist to reduce the number of empty wells in an assay plate and so reduces the resources required and improves efficiency.
You will see how a scientist uses a simple interface to request multiple substances against multiple assays, where they are prevented from submitting the same substance to the same assay that a colleague may have already requested.
The sample bank then only has to process a single order for each assay allowing the assayist to receive a consolidated plate.
This can also be set up to automatically follow configurable business rules for each assay such as deliver only full plates or only on the day of the week that the assay is scheduled for.
