Software Engineer – based in London, UK or Wroclaw, Poland

The Position

• Work in a team of exceptional and experienced software engineers, in a technical and development focussed environment.
• Software developer is responsible for: Module design, Coding, and Module testing.
• Perform development tasks using the following technologies:
     o Microsoft C#, .NET.
     o Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
     o ASP.NET, Javascript, HTML.
     o Microsoft Windows.
     o Visual Basic 6, COM.
     o UML.
• Possess a good working knowledge of the following software applications: Windows Forms, Web applications, Robotic control software, OLTP database, Wireless PDA, and Distributed applications.
• Opportunity for progression to Senior Software Engineer / Project Leader / Consultant, depending upon aptitude and interests.

Relevant Background

• Very bright, with a 2.1 degree or higher from a leading university and good A-level results in numerate subjects (As and Bs).
• Competent in at least one object oriented programming language.
• Familiar with Windows.
• An organised person, able to estimate and work to deadlines.
• 2 to 4 years commercial experience.
• Relational database experience, preferably Oracle.

Application Support Engineer – based in Westborough, MA, USA

The Position

• Possess strong functional knowledge and detailed inner workings of Titian’s Mosaic product suite.
• Responsible for resolution of technically complex support issues arising from Titian’s installed base.
• Work closely with the Titian Support staff in the UK, including pooling resources so as to balance the support workload between US and UK staff and increase responsiveness to customers.
• Perform Titian Mosaic customer installations under direction of Project Manager or technical lead.
• Coordinate and perform Titian Mosaic updates and upgrades of the installed base.
• Support and execute Titian Mosaic demos, evaluations and pilots in a sales support role.
• Maintain an active, visible, and excellent working relationship with customers.
• Provide, organize and maintain communication to the Titian Software Development and Sales teams based on customer feedback and reported issues.
• Located in the Titian US office in Westborough, MA and involves ~10% travel to customer sites and to Titian’s corporate office in London, UK.

Relevant Background

• 4+ years of experience in support role of customer data management and software solutions.
• Relavant life science/bio-pharmaceutical industry experience preferably with sample manangement operations and systems.
• A technical background in software, research informatics or other relevant area. Past experience in software development is advantageous.
• Strong, excellent, and proven customer relationship skills.
• Ability to read and understand C#, .NET, VB6, PL/SQL, and ASP required.
• Strong proficiency in SQL. Familiarity with Oracle preferred.
• Hold a 4 year undergraduate degree.

Application Consultant – based in Westborough, MA, USA

 
The Position

• Have a broad knowledge of the functionality and detailed workings of Titian’s Mosaic product suite.
• Work with a customer to understand requirements, document the required Mosaic configuration, and implement that configuration.
• Perform on-site installation and upgrades, integration testing, and troubleshooting of Mosaic with hardware (liquid handlers, automated stores, etc.).
• Develop and deliver training to customer.
• Migrate customer’s existing data into Mosaic.
• Responsible for prompt resolution of technically complex customer support issues.
• Perform routine, standard Titian Mosaic customer installations and upgrades via remote access.
• Execute and support Titian Mosaic demo installations in a sales support role.
• Participate in sales support activities for customer presentations and as conference booth staff.
• Located in the Titian US office in Westborough, MA and will involve ~25-30% travel to customer sites and Titian’s office in London, UK.

Relevant Background

• A 4 year undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, or software engineering.
• 4+years of experience in support role of customer data management and software solutions.
• Relevant life science/bio-pharmaceutical industry experience preferably with sample management operations and systems.
• A technical background in software, research informatics or other relevant area.
• Strong proficiency in SQL. Familiarity with Oracle preferred.

Regional Sales Manager – based in Westborough, MA, USA

The Position

• Achieve assigned sales quota.
• Responsible for new and repeat sales of Titian products and professional services to new and existing regional accounts.
• Have a good working knowledge of Titian’s product and professional service offerings and capabilities. Understand the features and benefits of all sales offerings.
• Communicate the customer’s goals and represents the customer’s interests to Titian.
• Sell consultatively and make recommendations on the various Titian product configuration choices and professional service alternatives.
• Act as the primary Titian account business contact and be responsible for achievement of overall account customer satisfaction.
• Create timely customer proposals and quotations as needed to secure business.
• Maintain accurate records in Titian’s CRM of all regional sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
• Responsible for active, visible and on-going customer communications and issue resolution.
• Located in the Titian US office in Westborough, MA.

Relevant Background

• 6+ years of accomplished sales experience in life science/pharmaceutical industry including traditional account management responsibilities. Sales experience in sample management and automation preferred.
• Proven ability and track record of achieving sales quotas.
• Possess an established and relevant customer contacts list.
• Prior CRM experience. Salesforce.Com preferred.
• Proven customer relationship skills including track record of positive account relationships.
• 4 year degree. Science or engineering preferred.
