Mosaic allows samples held in many types of container to be managed e.g. vials, microtubes, microtitre plates and tissue microarrays. Barcodes are used extensively.
Integration with automated stores.
If the demand for samples increases, Mosaic can support many automated storage and retrieval systems
Full audit trail and genealogy.
Sample audit trail, freeze/thaw cycles, and dispenses are automatically captured and stored in a fully searchable form
Oracle database.
Integrates with existing IT infrastructure, supporting collections from 20,000 to 100 million samples
