Senior Management Team:
Edmund Wilson – CEO, Founder
Edmund founded Titian in 1999, and has since developed the company into a leading provider of sample management software. Prior to founding Titian, Edmund had worked in the engineering group at The Automation Partnership (now TAP Biosystems), creating software for robotic sample management systems.
Edmund graduated from the University of Oxford in 1995 with an MEng in Engineering and Computing Science.
Saqib Malik – Head of Professional Services
Saqib joined Titian in 2013 as Head of Professional Services. He has over 14 years’ experience in Service Delivery and Software Development, and manages all aspects of Titian’s Professional Services offering, including Support, Consulting and Training. Saqib is responsible for ensuring that Titian provides excellent post-implementation services to our customers, delivering on SLAs and driving Titian’s process improvement.
Before joining Titian, Saqib was Vice President at JP Morgan Chase, looking after support in the Reference Data division. Prior to this, he served as Support Manager at UBS Investment Bank and has held other positions at Morgan Stanley and Barclays.
Saqib holds a BEng in Computing from Imperial College London, and an MBA from London Business School.
Alan Parkin – Head of Software Development
Alan joined Titian in 2000, and is now Head of Software Development, responsible for software development, software quality, resource planning, and programme management.
Alan has been involved in software for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry for more than 15 years, and has managed Mosaic deployments for many of the top-20 pharmaceutical companies.
Alan holds a MSc in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.
